After canceling a few shows due to a very serious kidney infection, Ashley Monroe reports she is out of the hospital and feeling some relief from the pain.

The talented singer-songwriter was admitted to a Nashville hospital on Thursday (July 10) and subsequently called off her shows planned for that weekend, telling fans, “I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this run because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I’m heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital."

Now, after receiving great medical care, Monroe is happy to report good news.

"I'm finally feeling some relief after spending two nights in the hospital. I'm very grateful to everyone for their prayers and understanding during this time," she says.

The singer will take it easy for a few days before she resumes her concert schedule on Friday (July 18) in Cincinnati, Ohio, with two other shows back-to-back in Kentucky and Michigan to follow.

Hopefully, the shows will go on without any pain!
