Two people were arrested by Casper police officers Monday after methamphetamine was allegedly discovered inside an apartment where three children lived.

Harley Lee Davis, 28, was booked into jail on recommended charges of methamphetamine possession and three counts of child endangerment by methamphetamine.

Loral Shantell Combe, 24, was arrested on a recommended charge of child endangerment with methamphetamine. The pair will likely make their initial appearance in Natrona County Circuit Court at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

A Casper police detective was called at about 3:45 p.m. Monday after three probation and parole agents conducted a compliance check at Combe's apartment. Combe was suspected of using methamphetamine, and was already on probation for child endangerment.

Come told officers that a bong was inside a backpack in her bedroom. She said the backpack belonged to Davis, who would occasionally stay at the residence.

Methamphetamine was allegedly found inside the backpack, along with other drug paraphernalia. Combe allegedly admitted to having smoked meth on Saturday night while no children were inside the home.

Davis had left the area, but returned to the apartment and reportedly admitted that the backpack belonged to him.

The three children present when officers arrived were placed in the custody of other adults.

Davis was arrested on an unrelated warrant, as well as the charges in connection with Monday's incident.
