Who is going to win the CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year? Ask a few dozen country stars and they'll say a first-time winner will take the trophy home on Wednesday night (Nov. 13).

During two days of interviews prior to the 2019 CMA Awards, Taste of Country asked artists to (anonymously) pick who will win the Entertainer of the Year award. Forty-three singers cast ballots, and two nominees took 75 percent of the votes.

Before we get to the results, it's important to remember two important things: this poll is unofficial and has no impact on the actual voting process. Artists were asked "Who will win the CMA Award for Entertainer of the Year?"

The first point is especially important to remember, for reasons you'll see in a moment. But first, the official, unofficial results:

Eric Church: 44 percent
Carrie Underwood: 33 percent
Garth Brooks: 14 percent
Keith Urban: 7 percent
Chris Stapleton: 2 percent

This is the third year Taste of Country has conducted an anonymous artist poll during CMA Radio Row interviews. Stars who participated in Radio Row include former Entertainer of the Year winners like Luke Bryan, Brooks and Urban, plus newcomers like Walker Hayes, Caylee Hammack and Maddie & Tae.

In 2018, the collective predicted Bryan would edge Kenny Chesney out for the award, but it was longshot winner Urban who took the trophy. In 2017 eventual winner Brooks took 30 percent of the artist vote, with Bryan just behind him at 24 percent.

According to the CMA Awards website, there are more than 7,400 voting-eligible members. The 2019 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Nov. 13 on ABC.
