Evansville Car-Train Crash Injures One

One person was hospitalized after a collision between a train and a car in Evansville on Thursday morning, May 2nd.

Officials with the Evansville Fire Department say the crash happened just before 9:00 a.m. at the railroad intersection with Henry Roadway.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office says, a 46-year old man was transported to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries.

The train was going at an estimated 35 miles per hour when engineers started the emergency stop procedure.

The car has been totaled.
