First Ever American Country Awards set for tonight! 12/6

Tonight (12/6) is the first-ever American Country Awards, LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden/Las Vegas on Fox-TV, hosted by Trace Adkins.

The show's producers insist this is the only Country Awards Show where all the awards are 100% voter-determined. Voting continues for Artist of the Year through Saturday (12/4) at the ACA's Website.

Voting for all the other categories ended November 8th.

Alan Jackson will perform on the show tonight and receive the Greatest Hits Award. The show's Exec Producer, Bob Bain, explains, "Alan Jackson is the consummate hit maker whose countless number of chart-topping songs can be heard every day on radio stations across the country.

"Jackson has written and performed many of country music’s most recognizable songs and it only seemed fitting that he receive the inaugural award."
