Grass Fire in Natrona County Near Robertson Rd.

Natrona County fire units are fighting what appears to be a small grass fire on the west side on Ravine Road which is just beyond Robertson Road near Highway 220.

Ryan Griggs of Fire District No. 7 said the call came in at 12:36 this afternoon. Units responded and had the fire out by 1:30PM.

It apparently started when a homeowner was burning limbs and other debris in a barrel, and the wind picked up and spread the flames.

It burned roughly 1 acre before being contained.
