The fifth speaker in Glenrock Library’s sustainability series is Jamie Purcell, director of the Wyoming Food for Thought project. Purcell will share her valuable insight into the slow food movement at the library on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 6 p.m.

Purcell has years of nonprofit management in her past, focusing her career on promoting sustainable solutions while putting people first. Instrumental in the creation of Casper’s downtown farmer’s market, Purcell attended both Casper College and the University of Wyoming. Food desserts, local food sources and creating community gardens are up for discussion with this forward thinking local.

All lectures are free, open to the public and suitable for all ages. Refreshments will be served.  For more information please contact the library at 307-436-2573.
