A man robbed a convenience store in Seattle on Saturday, and apologized throughout the entire ordeal.

The man tells the cashier he needs the money to pay rent and feed his kids, and at the end said, quote, "Thank you very much.  I appreciate it, and I really am sorry."

The kind words -- and the gun -- did the trick.  The clerk handed over $300, prompting the bandit to offer his thanks, and the promise, "If I ever get back on my feet again, sir, I'll bring it back."

The store may have to wait a few years -- the unnamed 65-year-old gunman was caught by cops the next day.
