Original Story:

Law enforcement is working to find a man who fled from a traffic stop overnight and eventually took off on foot south of Buffalo.

The suspect, Jeremy Daniel Singer is described as a white man standing 6'1" tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and a full beard.

Singer was last seen wearing blue jeans, a green parka and a black beanie. Anyone who sees a person matching that description to call 911.

Drivers are advised to not pick up any hitchhikers, and residents are urged to use caution.

That information came from Johnson County Sheriff Rod Odenbach, who spoke to the Big Horn Mountain Radio Network on Monday morning.

Authorities tried to stop Singer's vehicle shortly after midnight Monday in the eastbound lanes of I-90. Singer drove away and left the interstate southbound on Cook Road before taking the pursuit off-road and ultimately abandoning his vehicle, running off.

The search is concentrated in the area between Cook Road and Trabing Road just south of Buffalo, according to the Big Horn Mountain Radio Network.
