A Casper man and business owner is accused of having more than four dozen marijuana plants in his residence.

Thirty five year old Neil Arcuri has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance marijuana, one count of possession of a controlled substance marijuana with intent to deliver, and one count of cultivating a controlled substance marijuana.

Investigators with both the Casper Police Department and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation say on Monday, December 14th, officers met with a known but unnamed reliable confidential informant, who said he/she had observed a large marijuana grow in the basement of a residence on the 300 block of Oleander Street in southwest Casper.

After obtaining a search warrant, investigators were able to confirm that the information was accurate and found a multi stage marijuana grow operation, set up to be top of the line and of high quality.

Agents collected 54 suspected marijuana plants, and the buds of the plants weighed more than 375 grams without packaging.

When interviewed, Arcuri said he was from California and moved to Casper with his family, and he owned and ran the Doc Green's Organics store, which sold indoor garden equipment.

When asked about the marijuana plants, Arcuri said he was finished speaking with officers.

Another confidential informant said that he/she was buying quantities of marijuana from Arcuri three-to-four times a week for the past three months.

Arcuri is being held on $20,000 bond awaiting trial and could face up to five years in prison on the possession a controlled substance marijuana charge, up to 10 years in prison on the possession of a controlled substance marijuana with intent to deliver charge, and up to 6 months in jail on the cultivation of marijuana charge if convicted.
