A Riverton woman will face trial in Natrona County District Court for a hit-and-run incident in north Casper on Oct. 14 that sent three people to the hospital.

Cecilia Warren, 24, waived her preliminary hearing in Natrona County Circuit Court on Tuesday.

Warren was originally charged with two counts of aggravated assault and battery. A third count of the same offense was added last week. If convicted on all counts, she faces up to 30 years imprisonment.

Judge Michael Patchen agreed to lower her bond to $15,000 from $20,000. Warren's public defender Kurt Infanger asked for a lower bond because she has two children in Fremont County and no convictions for felonies or violent offenses.

The case started on K Street near Wolcott Street about 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, when an intoxicated man was arguing with a woman at her residence she shared with her children, fiance and his father, according to a police affidavit filed in circuit court.

Warren and the other man were near a car, and Warren told him to get in it.

He didn't.

Warren got in the car, drove west on K Street and tried to run over the fiance, who dodged the car. She turned around and drove back and hit the woman, the fiance’s father, and another man.

The fiance told police Warren hit the three so hard they were thrown into the air.

The woman was hospitalized with a broken pelvis, a lower back injury, and scrapes and bruises. The father of the fiance did not remember being hit, and he was treated for a concussion.

Warren left the vehicle, walked to her sister's residence later walked to East L Street where police arrested her.
