Severe Thunderstorm Warning – Natrona County

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning

The warning is for southwest Natrona County until 315 PM MDT.

At 223 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Independence Rock, which is 36 miles east of 
Jeffrey City, moving north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Devil`s Gate, Independence Rock and Austin Creek Natural Gas
  Processing Plant.
