Tonight's the night!  The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will go down in front of thousands and be televised to millions, live from Las Vegas.

We're pretty excited that Toby Keith is not only coming to Cheyene Frontier Days this summer, but that we'll also get to see him on the tube Sunday night. Toby is battling for the coveted "Entertainer of the Year" trophy at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.

Sunday is the big night.  We've been talking it up for weeks.  No...it's not my birthday!  The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air on CBS live from Las Vegas, and we are soooooo ready!

Okay, before you get your hopes up, just know that nothing is in the works...yet.  Ronnie Dunn's most recent announcement might certainly open up a few doors, though.  That is, unless he's just joking around.

Hey, I might have to actually watch this show, now. The Price is Right, a mid-morning game show staple for seasoned seniors and bored housewifes for the last 100 years or so, is upping its "cool" quotient. One of our favorites, Lee Brice, will appear on the show this Thursday. It's all in conjuction with the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on CBS this Sunday night.

The Academy of Country Music has just announced that this year there will be performances from each of the "Entertainer of the Year" nominees.

Yes!!  Jamey Johnson has just been awarded a plaque commemorating the gold certification of his 25-song double album, The Guitar Song.  Besides having a fantastic beard that could house all kinds of critters, Jamey's one of the nicest and most sincere artists out there.  Plus his songs ring out with hard work, integrity, and honesty.

As we anxiously await the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 3rd,(Doesn't it feel like an eternity already?) we've just learned that Ronnie Dunn and Sara Evans will be the headliners for this year's ACM Concerts at the Fremont Street Experience.

...and not just to Billy Ray Cyrus.  (Just threw him in because I'm diggin' the hair.)  Seriously, though...we're lovin' our JaneDear Girls!  Their hit tune Wildflower is growing right up the charts.

The Country world is abuzz right now with talk of the upcoming Grammys and the ACM's. In the midst of it all is the man...George Strait!

We've got more information on the upcoming Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of  Country special that's set for taping April 4th in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.  That also happens to be the night of the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
