Joshua Beckstead's negative hair drug test results meant he was maintaining sobriety and would not return to jail with an enhanced punishment for relapsing.
The case began May 2 when law enforcement agencies responded to a call about a robbery of the Points West Community Bank on East Richards Street in Douglas.
He could have faced up to 20 years imprisonment on the bank robbery count. The firearms count was punishable by not less than seven years to life imprisonment.
