News of his retirement came via a news release from the city of Casper, who wrote that Solberg would be retiring in May after a 44-year career in fire service.
According to a media release from Casper Fire-EMS, they received multiple calls regarding smoke and fire coming from a garage near a residence in North Casper.
Natrona County Sheriff's Office Investigation Sergeant Taylor Courtney stated that the suspect, Jolene Good, allegedly lit a fire with her ex-boyfriend inside of a root cellar that was serving as a bunker. The bunker had been converted into a living quarters, presumably for the ex-boyfriend.
Multiple agencies have responded to an incident near North Poplar and First Street, in which a vehicle drove off the road and into the North Platte River.
