Casper/Natrona County International Airport

The skies are a little darker, a little heavier today as the Casper/Natrona County International Airport has announced the unexpected death of Captain Greg Tubridy.

The Natrona County Commissioners decided at their meeting on Tuesday to approve money for the airport to keep open a flight to Salt Lake City.

The Airport Director says the added flight, as well as bigger airplanes, will give more options to both business and leisure travelers.

Increased traffic from Eclipse visitors may impact getting to your flight on time.

This may bode well for the summer travel season.

The plane had mechanical issues and was diverted to Casper.

As of midday on Wednesday, all flights to and from Casper to Denver have been canceled due to weather.

Randy Fenoli from TLC's "Say Yes To The Dress" was recently in Casper for the VOW's Wedding Showcase. Today Randy was trying to go home, but the winter weather kept him at Casper/Natrona County International Airport longer than he would have liked.

As of midday on Monday, all flights to and from Casper to Denver have been canceled due to weather.
