Over 3700 people made their way through the doors of the Casper Events Center this past Saturday, making this years event the biggest in it's 22 year history.
It all started Friday night with a calcutta that brought in over $131,000 with half of that going to the recipient charities and the other half going to pay out over $13,000 for the first place red and green chilis...
The 2013 API Chili Cook-Off was another one for the books. Mass amounts of chili lovers of all ages gathered for this years event to sample the best chilies that Casper has to offer.
If there is one way to combat the cold that comes with Winter winds, it's by downing over 40 different kinds of chili at the 2012 API Chili Cookoff. Vendors came, saw, and attempted to conquer each other's chili recipe and we the public were able to sample the best chili from all over. The contest was between the vendors, but we were the real winners. Check out these pictures from the event!

The 19th Annual API Chili Cook-Off, held at the Casper Events Center, was one for the ages. Over 45 different kinds of chili were offered, not to mention the fact that nascar tickets, guns, and even cash prizes were offered in the raffle portion of the afternoon. It was all very Wyomingish, in the best sense of the word.
