When you day dream about a home, what is the first thing that comes to mind? If you're a fly fisherman, it might be this. It's a Wyoming log cabin located right next to some pristine fishing waters.

If you love Wyoming ranches and have a desire to fly fish at a moments notice, I have a property you need to see. It's the Wind River Ranch and a fly fishing stream is right outside of the back door.

In a recent episode of "The New Fly Fisher" Spicer shares video footage from a past trip to Casper, Wyoming fishing along the North Platte River.

Imagine this scenario. You're fly fishing in Yellowstone. You hear a rumble off in the distance. Then, you realize there is a bison herd stampeding through your stream. This happened recently and it was fortunately captured on video.

If someone has never come to Wyoming to fly fish, there are no words that can truly explain to them what it's like. A new video does capture some of the sweet moments of serenity that our waters bring us.

There are two different kinds of social distancing. The kind done by the rest of the world then how we do it in Casper. Fly fishing for rainbow trout is how it's properly done.

The guides are already hitting the water and will have all the top producing holes mapped out by the time we get to early June. But boat space is filling up fast with only a few open boats remaining.

It is humbling that 56 anglers are helping to feed and shelter for some of Casper's less fortunate. The 2017 Fishin' for the Mission will easily provide 7000 meals.

I've heard stories of things caught on a rod and reel, things like boots and tires. But what we pulled out of the North Platte River was a first for me and maybe you too?
