Footloose

The CMA Awards had a whole laundry list of the who's who in country music take to the stage on Wednesday night. There were some great performances and the audience was able to get up on their feet and dance thanks to Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins.

Country’s funny man Blake Shelton kicked off the 2011 CMA Awards in Nashville, but fortunately, he didn’t take the stage to do stand-up. The reigning Male Vocalist of the Year rocked viewers and his peers with a remade version of the 1984 movie hit ‘Footloose,’ but not without a little help from the original recording artist, Kenny Loggins.

'Footloose' is in theaters now and fans are bound to recall the original 1984 film, which starred Kevin Bacon and John Lithgow. Comparisons will no doubt also be aplenty when it comes to both movie's soundtracks.

When you go behind the scenes with Blake Shelton, you know you are in for a laugh. Or two. Or 20.
