Pete Williams, a Casper native, forged a career as one of the most respected journalists of his time, serving as the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs under the George H. W. Bush administration and as an NBC News correspondent for nearly thirty years.
The U.S. Supreme Court has, for the time being, halted the Biden Administration from enforcing a mandate that would require employees at large businesses (businesses with 100 or more employees) to either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or to undergo weekly testing and wear a mask while on the job.
“We’ve got to deliver it from the factory door to the frontline workers. And I agree with the Centers for Disease Control – that we need to get it to the doctors, the nurses, those who are actually taking care of patients. But also the essential workers, those who are most vulnerable, the elderly, people who have medical conditions. And I will tell you, it looks like there’s going to be delivery by December 11th.”
