It's time to go "Back to School" for kids in the Natrona County School District. As parents and students prepare for the upcoming school year, teachers and faculty have planned events that will welcome students back and give parents a chance to meet their children's teachers, as well as drop off school supplies.

Fort Caspar Museum and its support group, the Fort Caspar Museum Association, are hosting a Lunch & Learn at the Museum on Saturday, June 9th, from noon until 2:00pm.

Fifty years ago, Danny Thomas founded the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the hopes of curing children's cancer and other deadly diseases. Danny wanted to open a hospital where children would be cared for regardless of race, religion or creed.  A hospital where families would never receive a bill for their child's treatment.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Beacon Club to celebrate the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby. The doors opened at 8:30am and the handicappers started rolling in.  13 races were set to run on the daily card from Churchill Downs, with the crown jewel - the Kentucky Derby set at race #11.
