On Septemeber 27th at around 1:30 PM the Fremont County emergency dispatch center reeived a 911 call from a man reporting that he had beome separated from his hiking partner--Chuck Kaiser, 72, from Michigan--in the Blue Ridge area, just off of Loop Road. This according to a press release from the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.
Our lakes behave differently in Wyoming. Dare I say better? If you visit one of them at the right time, you can almost hear the ice sing to you like one visitor to Frye Lake near Lander experienced recently.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we've seen many events in 2020 canceled or postponed. The Christmas parade in Lander wasn't one of them and now you can view pretty much all of it online.
There are some things that happen in Wyoming that rarely happen anywhere else. This is one of those things. A Lander family looked out of their window at sunset and noticed they had 100 elk in their backyard grazing.
Leave it to Wyoming to figure out a way to conquer the challenge of social distancing. Several of our cities are hosting cruising nights to give citizens an outlet for being social and safe at the same time.
