Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, is a big day at the Natrona County Library. It is Wyoming Reads Day.

The Natrona County Public Library has highlighted '23 Things to do at the Library in 2023,' and many of the items listed are things we had no idea we could do at the library.

Would you like a Casper home on the prairie? What about stellar views of Casper Mountain? Would you also love to have your own library? If you answered yes to all these questions, boy do I have a home for you.

For those that don't have access to the internet service, the Natrona County Library is now offering a free option for all adult library card holders.

The library will also deny entry to anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19.

Recently, outgoing library employees were replaced and several current employees moved into different positions.

The closure would be effective March 29.

The county's allocation to the library for this fiscal year meant the library is operating with a critical shortage of staff.
