Right now, Casper is in the midst of a lightning storm that has to be seen to be believed.

One of YouTube's most famous storm chasers was recently in Wyoming where he captured a wild lightning storm as it happened over Devil's Tower.

Campfires in the backcountry are not allowed.

No one was injured in the blaze.

I can't remember what day this happened last week, but if you were in Converse County, you had almost constant lightning one night. This guy captured a video of what the skies looked like.

Monday night a bear was killed in Woodland Park while climbing a tree during a lighting storm. Colorado Wildlife officials say the tree was struck by lightning while the bear was in it.

This is one of the craziest stories that I have ever heard about, and as I was reading it I just couldn't believe that things didn't turn out so much worse for this doctor who was struck by lightning and had no idea what had happened.

It's not exactly breaking news that Wyoming had a ton of lightning thanks to storms this week. That was especially true for the area around Clark that ended up with quite the lightning show in their skies.
