There have been some really cool improvements recently added along the Casper hike and bike trail, also know as the Platte River Parkway, but there is some work that appears to have been neglected and needs to be done!

Riverfest in Casper offers fantastic food, rockin' live music, micro-brew tasting, family fun activities, and of course the Casper Rotary’s Great Duck Derby. 2013 Riverfest will take place Saturday, August 24th, 11 AM - 5 PM. at Crossroads Playground.
The Platte River Trails Trust along with partner Keep Casper Beautiful will be holding their annual trail clean-up on Saturday, May 18th and are looking for volunteers. Everyone is encouraged to attend and pitch in to get the riverfront trail, and other community trails, spruced up and ready for the active summer season.
The next scheduled community excursion along the Platte River Parkway will be held on Monday, June 25, beginning at Morad Park at 6:00 p.m. and ending at Mills First Street Park. This week’s walk will be hosted by the Wyoming Health Fairs.
