Rock The Block

Since the Yellowstone Garage Bar, Grill and Venue permanently closed in the end of January, 2023, the future of Rock the Block has been in the air.

Yellowstone Garage announced on Facebook that it is now under new ownership and is opening in the near future!

Rock the Block announced on Monday that on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, they will be holding their final event.

The June Casper Art Walk happened in Downtown Casper on July 7, 2022. And it was the greatest show.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances with bands, we have to cancel Rock the Block THIS WEDNESDAY night, July 6th," Jen Gear wrote on Facebook.

Dynamic Sound and Lighting, the company that provided all of the sound and stage equipment for Rock the Block, took the venture over from Huff in order to ensure that it remains a vital part of the downtown scene.

On Thursday, Dynamic Sound & Lighting announced that Rock the Block will return for the 2022 summer season, albeit on a new day.

Luckily, Rock the Block, Casper's Downtown party that takes place every Thursday in the summer, is not a property of Yellowstone Garage; it's the creation of Dynamic Sound and Lighting, a local events promoter with an incredible sound system.

David Street Station announced on Wednesday that it will begin implementing enhanced security measures, and will also begin to limit entrances into the station on Thursdays which has, in many cases, been the busiest and most chaotic day of the week.

The Yellowstone Garage Bar is looking for the public's input on how to move forward with their 2020 Rock The Block events during the pandemic.
