September 11

Wednesday marks the 12th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Memorial services will be held all across the country, many involving a reading of the victims' names.

We all remember where we were on September 11, 2001. We all remember exactly what we were doing when we heard that two planes had crashed into the Twin Towers in New York City. We all knew that we would never forget that day, for the rest of our lives. Since that day 11 years ago, Americans have banded together more than ever to help our fellow man.

I have sang the National Anthem at numerous events all over town, it is always an honor to sing it and no matter where I sing it, I get nervous.

In remembrance of all those lives lost in the September 11th tragedy in 2001, ceremonies were performed all over the country today.

We all remember where we were on September 11, 2001. Whether it was at work, at school, at home, or somewhere else, the moment when we first hear about the attacks on 9/11 will forever be etched in all of our hearts and minds.

The September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks claimed the lives of 2,977 victims. The name of each victims is listed below.
