Winter Storm Watch

The snow, coupled with northeast and north winds between 20 mph and 40 mph, could create near white-out conditions.

Heavy snow combined with gusty winds could make mountain travel extremely difficult or impossible in southeast Wyoming Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening.

1 to 3 feet of snow are possible with much lesser amounts in the surrounding valleys. Strong gusty winds will also greatly reduce visibility due to blowing snow.

According to the watch, the area could see accumulations of 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts of up to 10 inches possible.
