Arvada, Colorado now has a restaurant dedicated to something probably already in your pantry, cereal.

Whether or not that gets you excited, there's already a ton of hype around the place. The Cereal Box has been featured on Denver television, radio, and many regional websites (and now ours.)

According to Denver Post website TheKnow, the idea started as a joke by owner Michael Emmerson.

The Cereal Box experience features about 120 different cereal options, some of which aren't readily available elsewhere in the United States, some of which you've probably never heard of.  The Know reported that Emmerson's toughest box to get was from South Korea and was "like 20-30 dollars a box."

You select the size bowl you're in the mood for, what kind of cereal you'd like, what kind of milk you'd like, and you can add their special mix-ins. The Cereal Box also allows you to mix and match what kind of cereal you want. A couple of the favorites are "Unicorn Poop," a combo of Trix, Froot Loops, Fruity Pebbles and they add rainbow marshmallows, strawberry milk, whipped cream, and sprinkles.

They also serve coffee, hot chocolate, and they make cereal themed milkshakes.

If you're ready for a cereal restaurant experience, The Cereal Box is located at 5709 Olde Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, CO. They're open Tuesday through Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ish. Yes, "ish" if the official closing time at this laid back hot spot.
