Two men who escaped from the Wyoming Honor and Conservation Camp in the Newcastle area apparently abandoned a stolen truck in Laramie.

Weston County Emergency Management Coordinator Gilbert Nelson told K2 Radio News Thursday that the stolen truck was located in Laramie. Police discovered the truck Thursday morning, Nelson said.

Laramie Police Dept. Lt. Gwen Smith said a local business called police after the vehicle had been sitting there since Monday.

Sunday night, Jason Green and Robert Simpson were discovered to be missing from the facility. That same night, according to the Wyoming Department of Corrections, a 2002 Ford F-150 extended cab work belonging to the City of Newcastle was stolen.

Additionally, Green and Simpson have been linked to a black 2005 Subaru Forester stolen out of Laramie this week. The vehicle bears the license plate 5-21517.

Green and Simpson both remain at large.

Smith said Laramie police believe Green and Simpson have moved on from the area, but police are still being vigilant.

Green, 48, is described as standing 5'10" tall and weighing roughly 170 pounds. He's a white male with gray hair and blue eyes. Green was last seen wearing brown tortoise-shell eyeglasses. He has no distinguishing scars or tattoos.

Simpson, 30, is also 5'10" tall and weighs roughly 165 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has scars on the bridge of his nose, his right forearm and his left hand. He also has a tattoo of a domino and "hell cat" on his right arm with other tattoos on his chest, abdomen and back.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is urged to call law enforcement.
