Yellowstone National Park Visits Rise In September
The number of visitors to Yellowstone National Park in September rose compared the same time a year ago, according to a news release from the park.
The park hosted 724,454 visitors in September 2018, or about 13 percent more than in September 2017.
However, overall visits so far this year are down 0.3 percent from the same time last year, but still represent a marked increase from six years ago.

The continued high level of visitation in the park underscores the importance of planning a Yellowstone adventure ahead of time, according to the news release.
