According to Good Housekeeping, apparently we're all showering wrong!  Did you know that you shouldn't wash your hair every day?  Gross right??.

The reason for not washing your hear every day is because your scalp overcompensates by producing too much oil, and your hair ends up looking oily all the time.  So you should really only wash it every other day or even every three days.  Here are a couple more things you might be doing wrong in the shower.

1.  You're not replacing your loofah. According to dermatologists, you should replace your loofah and buy a new one each month.  And that washcloth that you let hang in the show or next to your sink, well you should only use it three or four times before you toss it in the laundry.

2.  If you're exfoliating every day, stop.  Over-scrubbing actually makes your skin produce more oil, which traps more dirt and bacteria.  Start cutting back and only use exfoliating soap once or twice a week to get that healthy glow.

3.  You're brushing your teeth in the shower.  Most people who brush in the shower don't brush long enough, because they're busy multitasking.  You're dentist recommends you brushing for a full two minutes.

4.  You're using super-hot water.  It can dry out your skin, so you should take WARM showers, not hot ones.  With the dry climate during Wyoming winter's, this is one tip that will help with your drying and cracking skin.
