Deer Caught in Surf of Hurricane Sandy

A deer was caught in the rough waves and high surf from Hurricane Sandy on Sunday in Monmouth County, NJ.

Animal control and the Humane Society responded and tranquilized the deer, which suffered a broken leg from its ordeal against the rocky New Jersey shores. Rescuers believe the deer will make full recovery.
