The Gold team beat the Brown team 3-0 in a defensive slugfest at Wyoming’s Spring Game Saturday in Laramie.

Redshirt sophomore Brock Beddes from Casper kicked a 30-yard field goal with 1:01 left that accounted for the game’s only points.

The Brown had a chance to tie, but sophomore Cooper Rothe’s 50-yard field goal attempt went wide left on the game’s final play.

The Brown and Gold Spring Game featured 10 punts, one turnover and the two field goal attempts on the last two series.

Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl reviewed his team’s performance after the game. He spoke about the game itself; how he liked the defense; the offensive progression; the strength of the defense up the middle; some recruiting and more.
