2016 ACM Awards Add More Performers, Reveal Presenters
With the 2016 ACM Awards just days away, the Academy of Country Music has added four more acts to the show's performance lineup, and revealed the names of those who will be presenting trophies throughout the evening.
Joining an already-stacked list of performers are Charles Kelley, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town and Old Dominion. Old Dominion have already won one award -- New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year -- and are also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, while LBT received five nods, including Vocal Group of the Year and Song of the Year. Previously announced performers include Dolly Parton with Katy Perry, Brett Eldredge, Chris Young and Cassadee Pope, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Dierks Bentley, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and Cam.
The performers aren't the only stars that will grace the 2016 ACM Awards stage, though. Miss America Betty Cantrell, Chris Janson, Jana Kramer, Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, Nancy O’Dell, Jake Owen, Chase Rice, Kiefer Sutherland and Cole Swindell have signed on as presenters. Janson is nominated for three awards, while Musgraves is nominated for two and Kramer and Rice are each nominated for one.
The 2016 ACM Awards are set to air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on April 3, beginning at 8PM ET on CBS. Bryan and Bentley will be co-hosting this year’s ceremony.
