
2018 Wyoming – Natrona County General Election Voter Guide
Wyoming’s general election will be held Tuesday, November 6th. These are the candidates that are on the ballots in Natrona County.

All contested races have the option of writing in an alternate candidate.
Not all the questions and races are listed on all ballots, depending on where you live.For more information about the local election, visit the Natrona County Clerk's website where you can enter your address, find your polling place and see a sample ballot for where you live.
For examples, the fire protection district directors races are not on the ballots for the City of Casper and other municipalities with the exception of the Town of Edgerton.
With the exception of the Natrona County Commission race, all candidates for county-wide offices are Republicans and are unopposed.

PROPOSITIONS
OPTIONAL 1% SALES AND USE TAX:
It is hearby proposed that the Board of County Commissioners of Natrona County, State of Wyoming, be authorized to continue an optional sales tax within the county at a rate of 1% upon retail sales and other transactions, excluding food, authorized by statute to be taxed. The optional sales tax has been in place for 43 years, and the receipts of this tax are shared by municipalities and Natrona County Government based on population.The money is used for operations and capital projects as determined by the elected officials of the respective governments.

4% LODGING TAX
This tax is paid by visitors staying in hotels, motels, campgrounds, and similar establishments providing temporary quarters or space for transient guests. Unless stayng in these establishments, residents of Natrona County do not pay this tax. School groups and other tax exempt entities do not pay this tax. Shall the Board of County Commissioners of Natrona County, State of Wyoming, be authorized to enact this tax?
