5 Things I’d Like to Find at Casper’s Fall Super Garage Sale

I will admit that I'm a sucker for a good garage sale. That's why I'm super stoked about this weekend's Fall Super Garage Sale in Casper.

I have fingers crossed that I can find the following 5 items. Some are more rare than others, but I can dream. Here's my top 5 wish list for the Fall Super Garage Sale:

1. Evel Knievel action figure

I had one of these vintage Evel Knievel action figures when I was a kid back in the 70's. Evel (the action figure version) met his doom when I tried to jump a creek. That did not end well.

2. Original Speed Racer t-shirt

I grew up watching the Speed Racer cartoon. At one point in my life, I had a Speed Racer t-shirt. It mysteriously disappeared after one of my wife's garage sales. Pure coincidence I'm sure. I have hopes to reunite with this t-shirt this weekend in Casper.

3. George Foreman Lean Mean Grilling Machine

I know what you're going to say. You can go to just about any store and buy a new George Foreman grill for cheap. The problem is I don't like the new grills. There was something about the original George Foreman grill that was...better. I don't know why, but I want one.

4. Matt Holliday Colorado Rockies jersey

I want a Matt Holliday Colorado Rockies jersey at the Fall Super Garage Sale for two reasons. First, Holliday is my last name and I'd like to pretend that I have mad baseball skills. Second, I'm a cheapskate and refuse to buy an expensive new one. Got a used one you'd like to sell?

5. 1982 Pontiac Firebird

I understand that this last one isn't happening, but figured I'd throw it out there in case. The last good car I owned was a 1982 Pontiac Firebird. I'm scheduled to begin a mid-life crisis any day now and this car would be very helpful when that happens.
