A cooler air mass has settled across the state. This is some much welcome news for the fire fighting efforts. Today and over the weekend, daytime highs will be mainly in the 70s and 80s.
In addition, a flow of atmospheric moisture coming up from the south, the annual monsoon flow of moisture, will bring in much better chances for showers and thunderstorms
