Bison Reintroduced into the Badlands for First Time in 150 years
If you love the west, there is a new video that might choke you up a bit. Bison were just reintroduced back into the Badlands for the first time in almost 150 years.
The World Wildlife Foundation shared this video on Facebook.
According to the World Wildlife Foundation website, there is a new 22,000 acre area inside of Badlands National Park that has been created for the bison to roam the plains again.
Their story says that they're working to five bison herds into the ecosystem there so they can resume a natural existence.
Don't know about you, but it stirred some proud emotions inside of me when I saw those bison hit the Badlands territory again. The way it should be in my opinion.
