Casper Police: Vehicle Hits Gas Line, Traffic Blocked

Casper police and energy crews responded Thursday afternoon to a gas line which was hit by a vehicle.

The collision, reported in the 1600 Block of South Jackson, took place shortly before 3 p.m. No injuries were reported, according to police spokesperson Rebekah Ladd.

Traffic is restricted within that one-block area while crews deal with the damaged line.

Ladd told K2 Radio News that a call log indicated the vehicle which hit the gas line was no longer at the scene when police arrived.
