Cheyenne Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase on Stolen Motorcycle
A 22-year-old Cheyenne man is behind bars after leading police on a high-speed chase on a stolen motorcycle.
According to Officer Kevin Malatesta, an officer tried to stop Tyler Landers near the intersection of E. 5th Street and Morrie Avenue this (Tuesday) afternoon after seeing him run a stop sign on a stolen motorcycle.
Landers rode off at a high rate of speed, crashing the bike several blocks away in the 900 block of Morrie Avenue.
Malatesta says Landers was treated for minor injuries at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and arrested on multiple Laramie County warrants.
He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine, eluding, driving on a suspended driver's license, no insurance and the initial stop sign violation.
