Feel The Holiday Spirit At Casper’s Christmas In July With The Spuds
For well over two decades, Stuff the Van Toy Drive has been a staple in Casper. Collecting toys and money to ensure families in the area have a great Christmas.
As the years pass, the number of families who need our help increases, so this year we are starting early and getting a jumpstart on collecting toys.
Townsquare Media Casper and Casper Housing Authority Cares are teaming up with the Casper Spuds for 'Christmas in July' at Mike Lansing Field on Friday, July 25.
The Spuds are in a tight race for a spot in the playoffs and a chance to repeat as Independence League Champions. Friday, the 25th, will kick off the final series of the regular season, and we're looking to pack the house and fill Santa's toy bag to benefit Stuff the Van later this year.
If you bring a new, unwrapped toy, you'll get free admission to the game between the Spuds and the Spearfish Sasquatch. Bring the kids. Santa is taking a break from his summer vacation to spend the evening spreading that mid-summer Christmas cheer, and you never know who else will be stopping by to celebrate.
On top of that, prizes will be given away every inning with the 'Nine innings of giving.' There will also be an Ugly Sweater Contest and a Christmas Photo Booth.
Christmas in July on Friday is just the beginning of the final regular season weekend. On Saturday, after Game 2 of the series, will be the final fireworks night of the season, and Sunday will be the final regular-season game.
You can buy your tickets in advance, and get information on the Spuds at SpudsBaseball.com.
