On Wednesday night, Craig Morgan brought a little country to Conan O’Brien’s stage. The ‘This Ole Boy’ singer performed his newest hit single on ‘Conan,’ drawing cheers from the crowd and kind words from the red-haired comedian.

The rising country star and his band didn’t seem at all fazed by the pressure of taking on the silver screen and performing in front of a late night, albeit national, audience. The singer crooned his lyrics with ease, making sure to add his signature country twang to the performance. Smiles were exchanged all around as the band had a great time rocking out.

Morgan’s energetic performance was the perfect end to a hilarious show, which featured ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ star Larry David and writer and director Lena Dunham. Conan ended the show by shaking the singer’s hand and complimenting the song.

The country crooner was excited to appear on the hit after-hours show, and tweeted a photo of himself sitting in Conan’s chair to his 48,666 followers. He also tweeted that he is a big fan of Conan’s new late-night show.

Since releasing the ‘This Ole Boy’ album in February, Craig Morgan has seen his album peak at No. 5 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The title track reached No. 17 on the U.S. country chart last year. The country singer didn’t have much time to take in the sights of L.A. after his performance. Tonight, he’ll take the stage at Country Thunder, USA in Florence, Ariz.
