
No Growth Expected in Bridger-Teton National Forest Fire
UPDATE, 3:40 p.m.: The Forest Service announced at roughly 3:30 p.m. Saturday that crews have completed a line around the fire and no additional growth is expected.
A new fire is burning in the Bridger-Teton National Forest's Pinedale Ranger District.
The Forest Service said Saturday that the fire, burning to the south of New Fork Lake, is estimated to be between 1/2 and 3/4 of an acre. Currently, firefighters from Sublette County and the U.S. Forest Service are on scene.
A helicopter is also working the fire with additional firefighters on their way.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
