Devin Jennings no longer with Wyoming football program
LARAMIE -- Devin Jennings is no longer a member of the University of Wyoming football program, a school official confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
It's not clear when Jennings left the team, but he hasn't played in a game this fall.
Jennings, a 6-foot-2, 189-pound wide receiver from Channelview, Texas, appeared in all six games for the Cowboys during the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season. The speedy redshirt freshman caught just one pass for seven yards last November at Colorado State. Jennings also rushed the ball twice for five yards.
The former two-star pass catcher from suburban Houston was named a first team All-District selection in the state's highest classification after his senior season.

That year, Jennings caught 30 passes for 468 yards and hauled in eight touchdowns. He averaged nearly 70 yards per game and more than 15 yards per receptions while playing for Averion Hurts, father of current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts.
Jennings redshirted during the 2019 season and was slated second on the depth chart at the Z-receiver spot after spring practice behind super senior Ayden Eberhardt.
Alex Brown, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound freshman from Spring, Texas, is now serving that role for the Cowboys. Brown has three catches for 33 yards through seven games this fall.
Jennings is not currently listed in the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The current wide receivers on Wyoming's roster are: Eberhardt, Brown, Isaiah Neyor, Wyatt Wieland, Tyrese Grant, Joshua Cobbs, Gunner Gentry (injured), Jaylen Sargent, Ryan Marquez, Caleb Cooley, Will Pelissier and Chance Hofer.
