There's a pretty good chance you've heard of them, but you probably didn't realize that they've been churning out music since the late 60s. In their long-standing musical career, they've released over 20 albums, but most people know them for one of their 1987 songs. Also, you probably didn't know that legendary rock singer/ songwriter Jackson Brown was a member of the band in the early days.

I know you're on the edge of your seat and want to know who I'm talking about, right?

I mentioned they've released over 20 albums, meaning their song list is extremely extensive and includes songs like Mr. Bojangles, (All I Have To Do Is) Dream, Modern Day Romance, Baby's Got A Hold On Me, and, of course, Fishing in The Dark.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is heading out on the 'All The Good Times: The Farewell Tour- 60 Years of Dirt' this summer and making a stop in Wyoming for two nights, June 9 & 10. They'll be playing at the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts both nights, and tickets will be available soon.

If you can't make the Jackson dates, NGDB will play one of the final tour shows in Denver at The Mission Ballroom.

I love seeing legendary bands who give fans a final chance to see them live. We've seen it with a lot of bands: once they get out on the road, they realize how much they've missed it. That will normally set up a residency in Las Vegas, as the Eagles did. That isn't a guarantee, so you should get tickets to see them this summer here in Wyoming or Denver.
