Double Barrell 1911 Style Pistol Delivers Serious Stopping Power
I love my guns! As do most of us here in Wyoming. And when I notice something out of the ordinary in the gun world, I usually take note and a closer look.
Today, I discovered a relatively new gun design offering a double bang for your buck. If you want the most stopping power possible in a short amount of time, look no further than Arsenal Firearms AF2011-A1 Double Barrel Pistol.
This gun is was designed and built to commemorate the legendary Colt 1911 and hit the market about 2 years ago. It utilizes some obviously special parts such as a single slide and single hammer action, but at the same time offers owners the interchangeability of most internal parts with 1911 replacement parts.
The .45 caliber ACP double barrel design allows the shooter to deliver 18 bullets down range 1-2 inches apart at 15-20 yards. With the total impact delivery of 460 grains per pull of the trigger offers shooters enough stopping power to knockdown a bull.
This gun has been in production for only a short time now and as with any new design, it comes a high dollar price tag. If you'd like to own one of these double barrel AF2011-A1's, you'll pay anywhere between $4 grand and $6 grand ( and that's if you can find one for sale in the USA). I did notice that there are a few for sale online, but they get bought up as quickly as they get posted. So if you go looking for one, good luck! And if you get one, let me know, as I'd love to shoot it!!
