According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 26-yr- old Alex James Tougher, was southbound on the US 20/26 bypass early Monday and was entering the south bound ramp of Interstate 25 when the truck he was driving went off the right side of the road and rolled approximately 2 ½ times. During the rollover his passenger, 31 year old Lydia M. Pace, of Bar Nunn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was totally ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene. The crash was not visible from the roadway and wasn’t discovered until approximately 7:00 a.m. by a passerby.

Both Tougher and a second passenger, 32 year old Gregory L. D’Arezzo, had left the scene.

Highway Patrol Troopers located D’Arezzo at around 8:00 a.m. at a private residence in Casper. About four hours later Natrona County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tougher outside of D’Arezzo residence.

Tougher is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.

Natrona County Circuit Court Judge, Michael Patchen, set his bond at $250,000.
