Fall is in the air all around Wyoming, but if you're one of those Wyomingites who loves summer and the fun that comes with it, Glenrock is giving you a chance to hold on to the summer fun a little bit longer.

The Wild West Fall Fest will take place on September 27 from noon to 5 pm at Glenrock Town Park.

I know that you're asking yourself, "What the heck happens at the Wild West Fall Fest?" I'm glad you asked.

The best part of the whole day is that the proceeds will go to benefit the Guardians of the Children's mission to recognize and react to child abuse, and educate the public to do the same.

I know we all think that we're the best grillmasters in the Cowboy State, but this is an opportunity for the contestants to put their BBQ where your mouth is. Or, if you enjoy good BBQ, you'll be able to get your fill of it on the 27th.

The Wildwest Fall Fest  Schedule of Events:

• 9:00 am - The first-ever kids BBQ contest, the calcutta, and DJ kick off
• 10 am - 5 pm - Vendor & Craft Fair, Raffle Ticket Sales,
• Noon to 5 pm - Facepainting, Balloon Animals, Games, & Fun for the kids.
• 2 pm - BBQ Sampling begins
• 4 pm - Live Music with Brandon Jones

To sample the BBQ, it's only $10, and you can buy your tickets in advance at the Elevate Glenrock website HERE or you can buy them the day of the event.
