One of many sad side effects of the current quarantine are kids who are having to celebrate birthdays without parties. Several communities have stepped up and thrown parades for kids who would otherwise not have friends celebrating with them.

Check out this city who found out that Lorenzo was turning 4, but couldn't have a party. So many people lined up, the parade took 10 minutes to go by his house with many well-wishers showing him birthday cards out the window.

This parade party happened in California.

There have been so many communities stepping up, Time Magazine covered the phenomenon.

As sad as the sickness and death that this virus has forced on us, it's beyond encouraging to see so many human beings caring about the needs of others, especially children.
